D.A.R.E. Returning to Hennepin County

Hennepin County Sheriff Dawanna Witt and Twin’s Mascot, T.C., lead the D.A.R.E. parade at this year’s D.A.R.E./Twins game on April 30th. Sheriff Witt is working with Minnesota D.A.R.E. to return D.A.R.E. to Hennepin Co. She believes in our children, prevention, and community policing. Hennepin Co. is the largest county in Minnesota.
Minnesota D.A.R.E. 2023 Poster Contest Winner, Ava and her D.A.R.E. Officer Courtney Amos, Olmsted Co. Sheriff’s Office. Ava threw out the opening pitch at the April 30th D.A.R.E./Twins game accompanied by her D.A.R.E. Officer. Deputy Amos taught D.A.R.E. this year for her first year after recently completing training.
