Minnesota D.A.R.E. is proud and excited to announce that the Maple Grove PD is hosting the October D.A.R.E. Officer training. This two-week training for new D.A.R.E. Officers will be held at the Maple Grove Government Center – 12800 Arbor Lakes Pkwy N., Maple Grove, MN 55369. The Brooklyn Park PD will also be helping with the school visitation along with Maple Grove schools. Special thanks to Maple Grove DARE Officer Laurel Slawson for getting this set-up and Brooklyn Park DARE Officer Jen Foster for providing us with back-up support.
We have reserved spots for 17 of the 21 spots for this training. If you need a spot, contact me ASAP. I will now begin to follow-up on those 17 to get their paperwork started.
The training will be set up in an area with a lot of hotels and restaurants within walking distance. I am now working on getting special rates at a conference hotel. More information will be coming.
